Wallpaper Removal and Wall Resurfacing

Few home improvement projects are more time consuming, messy, or frustrating, than stripping wallpaper. Stripping wallpaper is a process that requires the use of special tools, sometimes caustic chemical materials, and most of all, lots of patience. It’s never an easy process to undertake.

Whether your paper is old or new, I utilize a steam treatment system to the surface to remove the paper. Wallpaper removal and application is a common job that I have to undertake, but it is one of the most time consuming, and labor-intensive, jobs you can do. A contractor experienced in wallpaper stripping can get the job done in less time, and with a fraction of the frustration that an average homeowner is sure to experience.

That brings us to wall resurfacing. It isnt always neccessary to resurface the walls after removing paper but I would say it is about 25% of the time. I developed a resurfacing technique years ago that is second to none and dust free. If your walls need resurfacing after the paper has been removed I can bring them back to a like new condition ready for paint.
